A delegation from the civil aviation sector, led by Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), visited California to hold a Saudi-US round table meeting. The meeting involved major US companies specializing in civil aviation, with the participation of vice presidents, CEOs, officials, and several experts in the field of aviation, airports, and the service sectors of the aviation system.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to enhance cooperation, exchange of experiences, localization, and transfer of aviation industry technologies. In addition, they discussed aircraft manufacturing lines, the latest developments in modern technologies, safety, and environmental procedures, and exploring opportunities for cooperation in improving manufacturing and innovation capabilities, attracting investments, and promoting international trade in the aviation sector.
